Hi Sweet Ruth Ann….
I soooooooo appreciate your email about the Northern Tissue 4 girl prints. I had to jump back over to tell you I found them on Ebay and won the bid! YIPPEE! Got all 4 11×14 prints vintage prints for $9.99. I was so excited! Anyway….my granddaughter is due any day….ANY DAY…..and I’m going to hang them in the nursery at my house. I hear Grandparenthood is a glorious thing! It’s our first one! I think that from reading your blog you would attest to that! (smile) Well come by my blog in a few days and I’ll share that new little darlin’ with you!
Just wanted to say a BIG thank you for pointing me in the right direction. Those prints I had in my room as a little girl and I adored them. They are no where to be found at my parent’s home now. So this is making this Momma quite happy!
Bless you,
Big Hugs,
Tanya
I hear your sweet daughter is a Kansas girl now! Where in this great state is she?

Aunt Ruthie, Made a quick trip to your area today and got to go to The Feathered Nest for the first time! What treasures! I could have looked all day long. I did make it home with one of your “This pie is so good..” granite chalkboard trays. I have collected gray graniteware for 40 years. Wayyyy before Country Living magazine. It seemed as though it was made just for me! Your work is fantastic!
Blessings,Becky Ransom
You made some cute stuff RuthAnn!!! I just love you & Sugarpie Farmhouse!
Hello all, not really a question about the post (which was lovely, but they always are!) but a question about the forums… does anyone know how long it usually takes to register? I sent my email a couple weeks back now, but no reply?
Thank you :)

One of the things I decided to do in the new year was to cut down on the cost and the amount of cleaners with chemicals that I use. Thank you for this recipe for homemade laundry detergent, it is just what I needed!!!
Hello Aunthie,
I made the soap exactly as you did. My family loves it. The clothes smell clean and fresh — without the perfume smell.
I was already adding borax, washing soda and baking soda to my commercial laundry detergent. So, it was just a matter of getting rid of the chemicals.
I washed one load. It did not smell as fresh as the others. I rewashed it and knew next time to use a little more detergent for those type clothes.
I wondered if the commercial brands would have just covered up the odor.
Thanks again. We will be making this again and again.
I just found your site and OMG!!!!! I am completely, absolutely head over heels in LOVE! I can not wait to spend a lot of time reading, browsing and just plain gettin’ to know you! BEAUTIFUL site!!!
Hi Ruth Ann,
I was over on Pintrest and saw a picture of your cute cupboard there so I added a note to it directing folks back to you. There was confussion about whose kitchen it was.
Anyway it lead me to do a little blog post about you today on my blog. Hope all is well with you. I have been away from blogging for awhile but I still like to jump in every once and a while to say hi to old blog friends and post a few up dates occasionally.
Best,
Sue
I am not sure if I overlooked the “followers” but I really loved this blog.
Blessings,

Hi,
I was wondering where I could find that amazing clock that is on the outside of the walk-through pantry???
Thanks,
Pam
Wow! This is a great blog not to mention the music. It’s wonderful! Thank you.

I cannot wait to try this! I have been using a front loading washer for two years now, and like you, I have been trying everything to make my towels smell good and nothing worked. I am goint to the store today to get what I need to make my own laundry soap. Thanks!
