Happy Summer Sugar Pies! It’s been a bit of a whirlwind at my house so far this season! I’ve had lots of friends and family come to visit! As I type this, I have all my kids and grand-babies here! It feels like Christmas! The little ones are taking naps so I thought I’d sneak into a quiet spot to finish up this post! I feel like I’m way behind on posting but I’ve had a lot on my plate…I know y’all understand!

Well,  after a long, cold, winter I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to have the warm sunshine to wake up to! I couldn’t wait to pull out my green garlands and summery vintage tablecloths to brighten my home, sweet, homeIMG_7565

I purchased this Farm Fresh Eggs sign at an antique mall a couple years ago (here’s a similar one!) and thought it would be a a happy & homey theme for my entryway. Many of you may recognize my vintage chicken yard-bird, Henrietta…I thought she would look so cute standing next to the old berry basket filled with eggs! She looks quite proud as if she laid them herself! Lol!!

IMG_7566I’ve had these cafe lights hanging here for quite a long time and these still make me happy when I see the cozy glow they create in the room. Somehow these lights always makes any space festive and cozy!IMG_7567

I also added my vintage cotton tablecloths to my old ladder. There’s no doubt in my mind that these sweet strawberry beauties hung out on the line after they were scrubbed clean. They are a little sun-faded and soft as butter. Ahhh! I love that! Make sure you watch my YouTube video on my Summer house tour to hear the sweet story behind the green and white plaid tablecloth from the 1940’s! I’ll put the link below!

I had this chippy frame that was put together with some old pieces of beadboard trim
